What are the benefits of InstructorPro?

How is InstructorPro used?
InstructorPro helps instructors plan and deliver Reformer classes more efficiently and confidently. It provides access to a comprehensive exercise library and an intuitive drag-and-drop interface to build structured, well-balanced class flows.

What is the best way for participants to learn the exercises?
The most effective approach is through repetition and practice. Combining online modules with hands-on Reformer sessions, revisiting the exercise library, and practising teaching or cueing will support learning and retention.

What happens if participants do not memorise all exercises during pre-work?
That is completely acceptable. The course is designed to reinforce learning during the face-to-face training. Participants should focus on understanding movement patterns and key principles rather than memorising every exercise.

What should participants do if they do not have access to a Reformer for self-practice?
It is strongly recommended that participants seek access where possible, as hands-on practice is important for building confidence. This may include attending Reformer classes, using a studio outside scheduled class times, or arranging access through the workplace.

If access is limited, participants should focus on reviewing online modules, watching exercise demonstrations, and practising cueing and class planning. However, practical Reformer time will significantly support learning and course performance.

Post-Course & Ongoing Development

What happens after the course?

What happens if participants deliver classes inconsistently after training?
This can occur while instructors build confidence. Ongoing support and feedback are recommended, alongside continued use of structured programming tools such as InstructorPro. Regular mentoring, observation, and practice can help reinforce consistent delivery standards.

What happens if participants are not ready to deliver classes independently after the course?
While the course provides a strong foundation, some participants may require additional time and practice. In these cases, continued development through practice, shadowing, and internal support is recommended before independently delivering classes.

Consistency can be supported by:

  • Reinforcing YR methodology and class structure

  • Encouraging ongoing use of programming tools

Common Learner Questions

Do participants need to memorise all exercises?
No, the focus should be on understanding movement patterns, key principles, and class structure. Confidence and recall will develop through practice.

How can participants best learn the exercises?
Through repetition and practical application. Combining online modules with self-practice, attending Reformer classes, and revisiting the exercise library will build familiarity and confidence.

What is typically the most challenging part when starting out?

Will participants be able to modify exercises for injuries and varying abilities after the course?
Yes, participants will develop a strong understanding of how to apply modifications and regressions safely for different abilities and common limitations. Confidence in this area will continue to strengthen with experience, observation, and ongoing practice.

What should participants do if spring settings differ on the Reformers used for self-practice?
Spring settings and loads may vary between Reformer brands. Participants should focus on understanding the intended resistance, movement objectives, and the Reformer they will be teaching on, rather than memorising every spring configuration.
