Do you have recommendations of how many Reformers will fit in my space?

We recommend a ratio of one Reformer to every 7m2 (or more) of studio space. We have put together a diagram to visually represent the optimal Reformer spacing considerations for different studio orientations and Kiosk or virtual studio offerings.

AU Reformer Spacing Doc_V1_page-0001

Staggering the Reformers to reduce the space

You can reduce the space between each Reformer by staggering them by at least 0.5m per Reformer. This reduces the gap between each Reformer to 0.75m.

Other space considerations

Room features such as doorways, walkways, and objects such as pillars and other obstructions within a studio need to be factored into your layout considerations.

How far away should the Reformers be from a wall?

Reformers should be approximately 0.75 to 1m from a wall. This distance can be slightly less than the distance required between each Reformer as there will be no interference from participants on the wall-side of the Reformer.

Where should Kiosks be placed in a studio?

Kiosks should ideally be placed along a wall as they have easier access to power and ethernet, whilst minimising obstruction to the studio’s flow. However, by running power under the floor to connect to the Kiosk, they can also be placed in the middle of the room.

Kiosks should be placed at the front corner of the Reformer, approximately 0.4m away from the front edge.
