Whether you have started a subscription for the Rental or purchased a Reformer outright, these simple tips will keep your Reformer in prime condition for years to come.

  • Keep your Reformer indoors to keep the springs and metal elements free from rust and excess dust.
  • Don't eat or drink on your Reformer.
  • Use a towel to protect your upholstery on fake-tan days.
  • Wipe down the upholstery after use with a microfibre cloth using dishwashing detergent and warm water.
  • Avoid spraying liquid or undiluted detergents directly onto the Reformer. A microfibre cloth ensures even coverage and prevents product build-up.
  • Dust and wipe the railings of your Reformer once a week so the carriage wheels track smoothly.
  • When washing hand or foot loops, hand-wash and drip-dry. To machine wash, place them in a delicates bag on a gentle cycle and hang them out to dry. Do not tumble dry.
  • Every few months, take the carriage off the base and tighten the nuts on the carriage wheels.
  • Rotate the springs evenly to ensure they wear well and get the longest life out of them.
  • When not in use, leave one red spring on so the carriage doesn't move if someone sits on it. Avoid leaving all springs on, as this wears the tension faster.
  • Replace springs every few years (this can vary based on usage).
